Rosé de Saignée
Blend : 50% Pinot Noir, 50% Pinot Meunier
Rosé de Saignée is an out of the ordinary cuvée in Champagne with a wine production close to the red wine. At the moment of harvesting, grapes are sorted out by hand on a sorting table. Then the juice ferments (between 24 and 48 hours) in a vat until the wine have the required color. Only then the champagne’s classical vinification return to normal. You will taste a structured rosé with a beautiful tannic strucutre. Its garnet color presents intense notes of red fruits. On the palate you will find some raspberry, violet and rose aromas which makes it an elegant and harmonious Champagne.
